Rack 'em up!

I know everyone is waiting with baited breath to see what happens in the continuing saga of 'Wine Racks Down Under.' Have no fear - the heart-warming, seat grabbing, action packed finale is here!

We'd left our intrepid wine collector Josh tirelessly searching eBay for deals and sales - it didn't take long before a great one came along and he pounced on it with the precision and finesse of a Mack truck. Bid late, bid lots, and always stick in that extra 50 cents to throw off anyone else's whole-number bids. Before he knew it, he'd won another wine rack for a whopping $10.50 - with the added bonus that the seller had two to sell at the same price so for $21 Josh was two wine racks richer. The only problem was that we had to go pick up the wine racks in Lilydale. Yeah, not really along the normal commuting route. The seller was willing to hang onto the racks (especially after receiving payment) for a while in order for a good weekend to come along, hire a car and make the trip. The trip for the racks fell nicely into the route out to William Rickets Sanctuary (previously blogged) so was a good enough reason to initiate an entire weekend activity.

Now the wine is fully out of the boxes, happily living in their cubbies along the wall. Next up will be the adventure of filling the port keg (lower left) but we're still waiting on the tap before we can fill it. Sometime in the near future we'll have that to blog about, but in the meantime here's the current situation - starting to see some empty space which means its almost time to go wine shopping again!

Not quite what you have back here, but growing nicely. Nice score on the e-bay deal!
