Kails in the Wild

Week #2 in Australia Ed and Myra went adventuring in Tassie, then they came back to spend another weekend with us before touring greater Victoria. On Saturday we drove up to the Dandenong Ranges where we enjoyed a picnic, a hike through the forest, wandering through English gardens, looking out over the city and the bay, and just being out of the hustle and bustle of the city. On Sunday after the triathlon we showed Ed and Myra around our old stomping grounds in Port Melbourne and the South Melbourne Market, and then just relaxed and enjoyed the hot summer day. This past week Ed and Myra have been busy and having fun exploring more of Melbourne, visiting the penguins at Phillip Island, and touring the Great Ocean Road. And now here we are to another weekend - sadly their last before heading back to Iowa. We'll have to find a few more Aussie adventures to fill their remaining time :)

What a great picture that is. Just sure they enjoyed Penguin Island as much as we did. Brings back great memories! On to the next group of visitors for you!
