Success

This past weekend was Race #5 in the Gatorade Tri Series in Elwood. It was a nice day - the first sunny, hot day of the tri series. The morning initially brought drama when Kristi realized she had forgotten her goggles, but Josh came to the rescue and raced home to retrieve the necessary equipment. Crisis averted, Kristi headed out on the swim and, for the first time this season, she managed to not be the last person into T1 - success at last! The swim was followed by an enjoyable bike ride and a steamy run. The great personal cheering squad (as seen here - yay!) and the ability to pass other folks in her wave gave Kristi the competitive drive to keep on truckin' - you never know, she may get into this sport someday after all...
