After a few relaxing days in Sydney and Katoomba, Ed and Myra made their way to Melbourne late Friday night to begin their visit with us. The weekend went swiftly by as we caught up on everything that has be happening on our respective sides of the globe and we acquainted Ed and Myra with the area. Then Tuesday morning they headed off for a week in Tassie and will be back again on Friday for the remainder of their stay in Victoria.
Highlights of the weekend included brekki and shopping at the
Prahran Market, checking out the city from the
Rialto Tower, taking part in Chinese New Year celebrations, exploring the
Art Market, participating in a hands-on opal cutting demonstration at Lightning Ridge Opals, and enjoying laughs at the movie
27 Dresses.
