Wow - this has to be one of the worst months we have had for number of blog postings in quite a while! Its been a whirlwind here with work, moving, trip planning and preparing for more family visits. Josh's project is starting to get busy as people realise there isn't much time left before the whole thing has to work smoothly and be a 'finished product'. Kristi's work has also been busy as her office relocates and is still working out the kinks from the merger. At some point we'll have a massive photo-dump onto Flickr, but it will probably have to wait until we're in the new place. Both our home computer and our external hard drive crashed and it looks like we're going to have to send them to Forensic Data to see if they can save our pictures and old files. It won't be cheap but we really don't want to lose all the memories if we can help it. It may be time to switch to Mac to see if a change in platform keeps pictures safer.
On top of all that, as many of you know we are moving next week since our current landlord has decided that he wants to actually live in the place and no longer rent it out - bummer! We'll be moving away from the beach and into more of the city, but will still be close to parks and markets so it should be a good change. With the move comes a new address for everyone to start remembering, though our Vonage number will remain the same so don't forget that. Please note that we won't have anyone to accept packages for us, so if you send something larger than a letterbox let us know so that we can be looking for it.

Time to go pick up the moving van and start the official moving process. This weekend is the only one we have before February and we knew we didn't want to try to move everything during the week. Kristi is taking a short-course this weekend to learn more about massage - so far so good and Josh is already reaping the benefits of the new skills. We couldn't have planned it much better for moving since now Josh can get a free massage after loading and unloading boxes all afternoon!

Chooks are chickens in Australia, so its a foreign chicken with its head cut off....not something we've actually seen, but you get the point.
Isn't there an Australian wine named Chook that you shared with us? Maybe a toast is in order! Hang in there and may the move go smoothly in precipitation free weather!!
